ROBERT LAWLESS JOINS HDG MANSUR AS CFO
HDG Mansur Investment Services Limited, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Lawless as Chief Financial Officer. Robert will serve as a member of the Executive Committee, the Investment Committee and the Senior Management Committee.
Robert commented “I am delighted to be joining HDG Mansur at a time when there will be very exciting opportunities in the real estate markets across the US and Europe.”
Harold D. Garrison, Chairman, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Robert Lawless to our team. He is an accomplished, results-driven executive with significant experience in accounting and tax, treasury, real estate, capital markets and operations and we look forward to working with him.”
Prior to joining HDG Mansur, Mr. Lawless spent four years at Specialty Financial Corporation in Reno, Nevada where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to working at Specialty Financial Corporation, Mr. Lawless spent more than seven years at Trustreet Properties, Inc. in Orlando, Florida where he served in a number of senior positions from Senior Treasury Manager to Senior Vice President and Treasurer.
Mr. Lawless earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as a Bachelors of Science (BS), Finance from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and a Bachelors of Science (BS), Accounting from Saint Leo’s University in Tampa, Florida. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), with Series 7, 24, 27 and 63 securities licenses. In addition, Mr. Lawless is the accomplished author of: Retire Richer & Faster! You Can Manage Your Financial Independence! (Tate, 2008); How to Make Money in Any Real Estate Market (Greenwood, 2009); and The Student’s Guide to Financial Literacy (Greenwood, 2010).
